European Cycle Events is the trading name for MaratonaUK Limited

Rider information/Booking multiple Riders

When booking multiple riders, it is a requirement for you to supply us with the “other” rider’s names and email address so they can be booked onto the relevant service

otherwise, the booking will be incomplete and cancelled with a full refund less any bank charges refunded. This MUST be done within 7 days.

Bike Transport – Worldwide Pandemic

In the event of a worldwide pandemic or a local issue that may cause the transport to be cancelled, if this is the case then your booking will be transferred to the new date of the event. 

Liability 

European Cycle Events are not liable for loss of any luggage/personal possessions which are handed over for transportation between locations.

Client Equipment

Bicycles transported are covered by our goods in transit policy

Refunds / Cancellations – Chase The Sun Bag and Coach Transfer Ireland,South,North,Ireland

In the event of a client cancelling a 25% admin fee will apply and the remainder refunded to the client providing the cancellation is made before 12/4/2025

after that date NO refunds will be given

In addition we do not do rollovers to the following year

If we CTS-Logistics cancels a service, the client will be informed as soon as possible and refunded in full, please note a booking is NOT transferable.

Refunds / Cancellations – Chase the Sun Italy

Please note the date of your request for a refund is the date used to calculate your refund not a telephone call.

Up to 31/12 of the year prior to the event a 25% refund will be given

Between 1/1 and  16/2 of the year of the event a 50% refund will be given

Between 17/2 and 16/4 of the year of the event 70% refund will be given

From 17/4 onwards NO refund will be given

Special conditions  for transport bookings / Coach connected to Chase The Sun events.

In the event of a coach or bike transport  being delayed of more than 3 hours then a food payment will be made to the value of £12.50 to each rider – all the rider has to do to receive this payment is to email us at  europeancycleevents@gmail.com to make a claim. If a client opts not to wait for the coach then NO refund will be given as the service is still available.

If the rider waits for the coach and for some unknown reason it’s cancelled then the client will be be entitled to 50% refund of the bike/coach transport payment they made. Please note these refunds/voucher only applies if CTS-Logistics cancels the coach, if anybody else cancels the coach who’s not employed by CTS-Logistics then NO refunds/vouchers apply. 

If a bike transport / coach /Bag booking is cancelled with in 10 weeks of the event NO refund will be given , outside of this period a 15% admin fee will apply

Chase the Sun transfer off Booking.

We allow a transfer off a booking of a bag/coach and Bike from one rider to another , but a £10.00 admin fee will apply and is payable by the person who has the orginal booking. All you have to do is email us the original person name / email address and the new persons name/email address, we will then reply when complete.

Force Majeure

This means that we will not pay you compensation if we must cancel because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. These can include, for example, war, riot, industrial dispute (for example, the disruption or closure of airports or other transport systems), terrorist activity and its consequences, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, health pandemics, adverse weather conditions. In the unlikely event of the cancellation/postponement of the sporting event for whatsoever force majeure reason, European Cycle Events cannot be held responsible in any way for any monetary loss, inconvenience or any other circumstances, including non-refundable events fees.

Data Security

When entering our event your email address will be automatically added to our database. If you do not wish for this to happen, please email us with the title “unsubscribe.” We have never and will never sell on or give your email address to any other company except for European Cycle Events being acquired by another company. From time to time we work with other organisers and we may email you regarding the event we are jointly working on, but we will never pass on your email address to the other company.

Refusal

MaratonaUK Limited has the right to refuse a booking without giving reason.
